Our history
The Wandoan Pharmacy was established by a returning soldier and has been owned by Pharmacist Dinah Fraser for over 51 years. Dinah is the 3rd owner of The Wandoan Pharmacy and has seen a lot of changes to the local community landscape.
The Wandoan Pharmacy services a wide region as the nearest town is over 50km away. The Wandoan community is very rural with lots of agriculture and coal mining being undertaken.
Dinah and her team are an integral part of the Wandoan community and regularly support the local Horse Races and the local primary schools with their fundraising efforts.
Our Team
Ali qualified as a pharmacist in 2010 and though he works with us only one day a week, brings an enthusiasm second to none. Working alongside our team, Ali is the Master of Websters, coordinating our dose administration aids service while performing his duties as pharmacist with a passion for friendly, professional service, including in-store Diabetes and Medschecks.

Heidi joined our team in mid-2017 as a casual pharmacy assistant. Now a regular fixture on Thursdays, her energy level is sensational. She fills in whenever we sound out the bat signal while still being an amazing mum to her two beautiful children, and all this done with a ready smile and a deepening well of knowledge.

Rachelle qualified as a Naturopath in 2009 and has been working with us for over seven years. With advanced diplomas in Western herbal medicine and a Bachelor of Health Science, always ready with a big smile and practical advice, Rachelle is extremely passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals, particularly in the area of digestive health and food intolerances, hormonal imbalances, sleep and stress issues.
Angela is a qualified Naturopath with advanced diplomas in Western Herbal Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine. She is also a clinical acupuncturist and an AHPRA- registered Chinese Medicine Practioner. In practice since 2007, Angela combines personal and clinical experience, meticulous attention to details and oodles of passion in helping her clients achieve great outcomes with their health, especially in areas of women's health (fertility, hormonal imbalance, stress & anxiety, digestive issues and many more).

Taylah was a junior assistant until early 2018 where we saw the potential that we knew was always there and promoted her to a learner assistant. She has since risen to the challenge, having gained her S2 and S3 certificate in just 2 months! Her youthful enthusiasm and stunning work rate will serve well as she continues to learn valuable customer service skills and product knowledge form more experiences team members.

Young Emma started at our pharmacy three years ago as a junior. Since being made a pharmacy assistant, she has grown from a shy youngster to a confident lady with the biggest smile and quickest service that is simply amazing. In three years, she has gained knowledge and skills that has seen her integrated almost seamlessly into the team, playing crucial roles in shop, dispensary and Webster packing. Going to Uni during weekdays, Emma has given up her Saturdays to help our pharmacy serve the community on weekends.
